Las Estafas Asiáticas - SCAM

Hemos recibido numerosas consultas de nuestros clientes en cuanto a una posible disputa con su dominio o su marca con alguna empresa de ASIA. Esto es una estafa. Por favor, ignóralo.

 

El Modus Operandi


El objetivo de estos estafadores es conseguir que sus víctimas registren nombres de dominio con ellos a un precio ridículamente caro. Su modus operandi es muy simple. Al azar buscan el nombre del propietario de un nombre de dominio a través de consulta WHOIS. Si el WHOIS de ese dominio particular está protegido, entonces prueban suerte en el sitio web del dominio con la esperanza de encontrar un formulario de contacto o dirección de correo electrónico. Una vez que consiguen ponerse en contacto con la víctima, le envian un mensaje de correo electrónico presentándose como una compañía de nombres de dominio (la mayoría de ellos son de China o Hong Kong). Ellos afirman que alguna compañía ha presentado una solicitud para registrar nombres de dominio que lleven la palabra del nombre de dominio de la víctima. Con el fin de proteger la marca registrada de la víctima, le ofrecerán la oportunidad de "ganar" los nombres de dominio solicitados por la otra empresa antes de que se apruebe el registro. Para que el mensaje parezca auténtico, a menudo terminan el mensaje con el nombre de la persona, puesto, teléfonos de contacto, dirección del sitio web y dirección de correo electrónico en su firma.

After our initial examination, we found that the Network Trademark and domain names applied for registration are as same as your company's name and trademark.

These days we are dealing with it,so we hope to get assistant from your company.

Considering this issue will relate to your intellectual property, now we have not finished the registration of [NOMBRE-DE-LA-COMPAÑÍA] yet,in order to deal with this issue better, Please forward this email to the person who can be in charge and contact us by telephone or email as soon as possible. Aunque pueda ser una buena idea reservar todos los dominios de nivel superior de Internet (TLD) para tu empresa, en realidad, no siempre es práctico. Aparte de los 20 dominios de nivel superior general (por ejemplo. Com,. Net,. Org, Asia), hay 247 dominios de nivel superior de códigos de país (por ej. Mi. Sg. Cn,. Hk,. Tw) y numerosos dominios de segundo nivel ( por ejemplo.. com.my. net.my. com.sg. net.sg) sólo para que lo consideres. Si realmente te preocupan los nombres de dominio en disputa, entonces no hay razón por la que no debas dar la misma importancia a todas las extensiones de los dominios arriba.

Un signo evidente de que esto es una estafa es que ninguno de los nombres de dominio en cuestión se han registrado a pesar de que ha pasado la fecha límite hace más de un año.

Sólo una empresa sin escrúpulos utiliza un método deshonesto para conseguir nuevas ventas. Por favor, evita estas empresas a toda costa. Nunca sabemos hasta donde son capaces de llegar.

 

Prevenciones y soluciones


Esto no es más que otra forma de spam. Al igual que cualquier otro spam, realmente n podemos librarnos por completo de este problema. Sin embargo, se puede reducir el número de spams o hacer más difícil para los spammers el obtener tu dirección de correo electrónico. He aquí algunas sugerencias.

  1. Activar La protección de WHOIS en tu dominio. La protección de privacidad de datos WHOIS se ofrece sin costo para los dominios .COM, .NET, :ORG y .INFO registrados en SitiosRegios.com y se puede activar desde tu panel de cliente en las propiedades de tu dominio.
  2. No des a conocer tu dirección de correo electrónico en tu sitio web o en cualquier otro lugar en Internet. Utiliza un formulario de contacto que esconda tu correo electrónico.
  3. Prevenir el envío automático de formularios mediante el uso de la imagen CAPTCHA.


A pesar de que la solución más sencilla es hacer caso omiso a estos mensajes, la denuncia de este tipo de delitos ante las autoridades competentes podría ayudar a prevenir que los demás se conviertan en víctimas.
